Here I am, having completed 13 miles of the half marathon.
I know this is a terrible picture of me, but I guess it is reality.
Can you tell what is on my mind?

"Where the #$% is the Finish line?". And I could tell the photographer was thinking "This is the reason I'm TAKING the photo and NOT running the race". I was also thinking "People who run marathons must be crazy!".
If I had run that far they'd be scraping me up off the pavement. Good for you, Shirley. You look GREAT!
okay, I am coming back to post to prove I am not an idiot. LOL. I just realised that this was a HALF marathon. Okay. Duh. I really can read Shirley! Ha-ha!
Nothing would have been on my mind at that point because I would have dropped dead around mile 3. Ok, who am I kidding? Mile 2. LOL!
